Part of the portraits that I take on the wedding day are the wedding party group pictures. The bridesmaids and groomsmen are obviously very important people so I make sure to budget time accordingly for pictures with them and the couple. How much time? Well, that depends on the size of the wedding party. I have had couples that do not have a wedding party at all and I've had 16 bridesmaids and 16 groomsmen. So I will budget anywhere from no time to an hour but its usually closer to 30 minutes.
I always take the classic group portraits of everyone looking at the camera but I also encourage the wedding party to have some fun and that's exactly what they did here. The couple, Nikki and Zach, were clearly surrounded by some fun people!
