Nikki and Zach decided to do a first look on their wedding day. I would say most of my couples do this but it certainly is not mandatory. Whatever works for my couples on their wedding day works for me to photograph.
This moment was not the first time during their wedding that I teared up. I guess I'm a romantic but I just found that the absolute joy and excitement they had when they saw each other was really something special.
Immediately after their first look we went into the couples portrait session. We explored all of Nikki and Zach's favorite location throughout the Eau. When a couple has a first look, it makes the most sense to follow it with the pictures of the couple together. That is the time of the day when the couple is really riding that wave of excitement.
