The bride, Nikki, wanted to have some celebratory pictures at the beginning of her wedding day. We all decided to head outside to the courtyard area of the Eau because that would make for easy cleanup. Nikki and her bridesmaids were so excited to pop the champagne and share a drink together.
I recommend to my wedding couples to have small events during their getting ready pictures. It does not have to be anything formal but something to create some moments together. An event leads to a reaction, and that reaction creates a moment to be captured by my camera. Sometimes champagne is opened, a toast is given, a gift exchanged, or a meaningful letter is written to your fiancé. There is no right or wrong way to do these small events. Just make it personal and meaningful to you.
