These portraits were taken at the Eau in Palm Beach, Florida.
When I am photographing the couple together on their wedding day, I also budget time to take individual portraits of the bride and groom on their own. These are two portraits I took of the bride, Nikki. In the first picture I had her looking off camera at her fiancé, Zach. And in the second image, I just asked her to have some fun and she danced around a bit. This created such fun portraits of her.
It was a very sunny Florida day, of course, and I decided to use the natural sunlight to backlight Nikki to create an ethereal and soft quality of light. I thought that worked well for these pictures.
