This image was created inside Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, NYC.
When I am photographing an engagement session or a wedding, I make a point of being able to create a variety of different types of pictures in the same location. Being a well-versed photographer is an important skillset especially if time is against you on a wedding day.
While I wasn't being rushed too much for this engagement session, except by the general public around me at the park, I still wanted to create variation and work quickly. For this photo, I decided to light the wall behind Yael and Justin to create a silhouette. I find silhouette pictures to have a moody and romantic feel to them.
